I do performance per dollar, as that's all that matters really. especially at that budget

well you can find blue DDR4 memory pretty easily, but that's just about the best budget 1151 board around, just paint it or something if asthetics matter so much, it's not losing performance for a color scheme

or buy an HR-22 at some point and just cover up the entire motherboard

That wouldn't work with the skylake build

and really any RAM from a more well known vendor is all going to be effectively the same, they just have different heatsinks

is this a better decision on my build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Clone112099/saved/pVpXsY

i gtg ill check tommorrow

Should really be going skylake, the cooler will come with paste, you don't need the AS5, and you'd want MX-4 anyways

if not skylake then at least buy a Xeon 1231v3 which makes more sense to get overall than an unlocked i5, it's basically an i7 with no iGPU
https://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646e31231v3

otherwise, don't buy an OEM key if you're going to buy a windows key as they only work once, you want a retail key that you can use many times

Should go for a 120mm fan 4 pack over those fans

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835200072

and just buy either USB 3.0 extension cables, or a USB 3.0 HUB like this one over a front panel bay, that way it's up and easily within reach on your desk
