I know nothing about AMD CPU's but if u wanted a budget Intel CPU then get the Pentium G3258! For its price its amazing and i overclocked mine to 4.2Ghz

If you can find a Phenom X4 or X6, you might be able to play it. But eh.

I think @LokiFire has either one of them

The phenom ii would do well enough, the question is, what cpus does your motherboard support.

Was this a pre-built store bought pc? If so your upgrade options are likely limited. If not, then if you can find a phenom ii x4 for cheap, then that would be your best bet.

My rig:
CPU: i5 4690k 24/7 @4.4ghz (1.165v) Max 4.7ghz (1.325v) COOLER: NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO: Asus Z97-A   RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical   GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC   PSU: EVGA GS 650W   CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB + WD Black 2TB
