Nvidia gt 720 dual monitor low frame rate

Hi, I'm using an nvidia gt 720 with 2 monitor (Benq 2460HM) in full hd (one connected using the hdmi, the other with the dvi) and I'm experiencing and issue when I watch videos (e.g. youtube and netflix) in full hd full screen: on the first monitor (the one connected with the hdmi) all seems ok but on the other one there is a low frame rate easily noticeable. Also I noticed that the gpu usage isn't high when the video was played (on each monitor). On average, was around the 20%. Does someone know how I can get rid of this problem?

What CPU? Also, what refresh rate is the second monitor?

Both monitors are set to 60Hz. The cpu is an i7-5820k with 32GB ddr4.

Real quick though... WHY. WHY. WHY. do you have a Gt 720 with a 5820K? I'm sure there must be a good reason, but I can't think of any.

Probably as a card so the machine could actually function. I imagine OP does an arseload of CPU intensive tasks but very little on the GPU side.

This is hands down the strangest setup I have ever seen.

I don't play videogames so I don't need an extra-ultra-powerful gpu

Weird. Maybe it's drivers?

I've just updated the drivers but nothing changed.

Just out of curiosity, what do you do with that 5820k?

Ok, never mind. I solved the problem changing the cable (which I noticed was a dvi-single link) with another I found in my room (dual-link) and now all seems ok.
Thanks to all. :)
