Safe to take apart the G27 for shipping?

So I'm going back to Norway for the summer, and since I'm taking a flight, I can't take too many things with me. I plan on leaving the larger things like my desktop, and the sub here for the summer, however since I will be taking my drivers test after coming back to Canada after the summer, it would be beneficial for me to take my G27 with me and practise using the h shifter over the summer.

The issue is that with the wheel on the main housing, it is too tall to fit in my suitcase. I'm aware you can disassemble it fairly easily by removing the front hex screws on the image below, but would there be any possibility for it to get uncalbrated (being off center) Once re assembled?

Dunno about taking it apart, but a real clutch and gear shift is not even comparable to a racing wheel

I know it isnt the best case scenario, but a friend that started driving stick not too long ago said that his wheel was decent practice. There is no feeling for when the clutch bites in a racing wheel, but it should not be too bad once you are moving.

yeah, the break pedal is so stiff compared to a real car that i find myself left foot breaking far too often... Literally roll back in my chair trying to stop, but I guess you wont need abs as often that way...

Yes, you can take it apart without worrying too much. There are six hex screws and two small connectors for the buttons. If you don't bend something in the process, there shouldn't be any issues.

You can see it on pictures.
