Well, the apple watch is 100 USD off at best buy, and I'm now really thinking I should get one.

I want some opinions though.. tell me if you have one or don't have one, and then give me your opinion.

If you are biased then please don't even respond.

Thanks!

My mom owns one, and I would say it's definitely better than it's rep, but not enough for me to actually get one. The battery life is ok and should get you through the day most of the time.

At $100 off I would say it's worth to consider.

Not really worth it atm, there will be an improved version quite soon as well

The features just don't compensate for the price, does the same thing as your phone on a tiny screen on your wrist

I'd wait to see what the 2nd gen has to offer whenever that is.

I have one and I really enjoy using it especially since I can look at my blood sugar (I'm a type 1 Diabetic) using a apple watch app which has changed my life tremendously.

Now that being said, I don't think you should get one at this point in time even though they are $100 off. You should most likely wait and see what the 2nd generation has to offer when it comes out.

If you quote me or are replying to me please @ me. Thanks

Not being able to have an always on display and having the battery last a single day "most of the time" is not acceptable for any smartwatch. I went from a Samsung Gear 2 (3+ days per charge, but no always on display) to a Zenwatch 2 (2 days per charge with an always on display) and being able to glance at the watch to check the time, weather, steps etc. was a huge improvement.

Until the Apple Watch has an always on display and lasts for at least a full (24 h) day, I cannot recommend it.
