yes you can because the ram will automatically downclock until it becomes compatible with the cpu

If all 3 clock speeds are being mixed, it will all run at the lowest frequency.

NVM, as long as its a Z107 motherboard the RAM should run at 3000MHz. With the other chipsets the speeds will be limited on a per CPU basis (as in the RAM speed Intel has rated the CPU for).
