Should I Upgrade my Wifi Card?

Right now I'm using the TL-WN881ND pcie wifi card to receive my wifi from the router that is downstairs. I'm usually getting 5-7 mbps. My upload speeds are around 1-5 mbps. The problem is on ethernet, download speeds are at 60 mbps and upload is at 20 mbps but I can't run an ethernet cable because my computer is upstairs.

 

So I was wondering should I upgrade my wifi card, or should I get something else?

It's probably the signal, try moving the pc or router or get an extension for the antennae.

Whats your router model may I ask?

And any budget in mind?

My router model is the netgear ac1750, I'd probably like it below $170 ish

I would do that but my room is in a different circuit
