What videocard would you recomend me for 280$

If you want to keep nvidia, 960 will leave you some for other things, 980 will push that. 380x leaves some it too depending where you buy.

Hi, my current build is this:

 

GPU: GTX 660 FTW 3GB GDDR5

CPU: AMD FX-6300  Six Core 3.50 GHz

MOBO: GiGABYTE 78LMT-USB3

PSU: EVGA Supernova NEX750 watt Power supply

 

I'm upgrading my monitor to 1440 x 900 to 2560 x 1080 and i'm going to run into problems when running games like BO 3 or something like that.

 

What GPU would you recommend for 280$?

Or would you recommend a CPU upgrade.

I suppose he might want a cpu, maybe a mobo, and a powersupply to power it all.

If you don't mind buying used I would look for a 390x or a 390 from amd or a used GTX 970

 

but honestly I would wait for the new cards to come out so the old cards drop in price.
