Hey was messing around for a build. Open up to any suggestions.
I'm trying to find a good bang for the buck motherboard that is preferably under 100$ with ddr3.

Also i know that the case is poo but my friend is refusing to budge away from it. But if there is anything flashy for cheap and doesn't suck i'm up for suggestions (Pref. Green lights).
He wants to keep the build at around 800$ but would prefer to keep it around 650$-700$ to get a new monitor.
Thanks for looking!

going for cases because they are flashy is a mistake imo. getting something like a fractal core 2500 because its practical is a better idea

The person above made it clear. I'd just as an extra swap the case for a more reliable NZXT S340 (black/green since you prefer that) for an extra 20$-ish.

well i my motherboard is the ASRock Z97 annaversairy and its pretty nice, was literaly the cheapest Z97 board were i live when i did my build but it has all the things i would want, USB 3 ports a plenty for one :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
