Will my 980 sell for £250?

It is in perfect condition and it is a reference card. Box and accessories included. I am thinking of using the money for a g-sync monitor as tey start at £250 here in the UK. Is this a good idea?

Do you have a backup GPU? Selling your GPU to buy a nice monitor is like selling your engine so you can get fancy new tires.

250GBP is like 320€

In my country (Slovenia), people are selling GTX 970 for 320-350€ .... all used cards!

GTX 980 used are selling for like 400-450 here.

 

It depends which version of gtx 980 you have, but for 320€ you should be able to sell it in few hours after you post that offer on your local website where people are buying used items etc.

 

May I ask how much does exactly the same new GPU like yours cost in your country? Take that price minus 100GBP and you get price that should be just fine.

well if new one costs 400GBP, 300 seems fair price. 25% discount sounds like a good deal to me.

That is if you have original receipt from it and if card still have warranty. If not, you can still sell for that price, but buyers prefer to buy with warranty and receipt.

Just post your offer on website where peoples in 300km radious are selling/buying that kind of things. Start with 300GBP price and then reduce price for 10GBP each 3 days or something.

Unless you need to sell it fast and need money urgently, then just post it for 250 and it will be sold by the end of the week for sure.

your ripping your self off selling it for any less than 300 considering how much they cost new. , is it 980 or 980 ti though..... if  980  ok 250 but 980ti, its far too new of a card to  be giving it away. someone will be a happy  dude to  buy it for that price.

Its just that there arent as many build projects here in the UK so it was easy to get a free card
