You're spending money in all the wrong places

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

comments:

Spoiler

GPU: no problem, unless you wanna step down to a 390 for better performance per dollar, but really doesnt matter

CPU: get an i7 if you're serious about editing, if not, just stick with an i5

ram: too much ram, 16gb is enough, if you are sure you use more than 16gb, then get 32gb sure, maybe get 16gb now and expand to 32gb in the future if you need to?

motherboard: as usual, nothing wrong

PSU: solid choice

case: personal preference, no comment

SSD: get a 250gb if possible, if not the 120gb is fine too

HDD: a wd blue is fine but seeing the reaction from this thread, i can see why you'd go for red, even though red is for NAS work

CPU Cooler: again, no comment since you justified this choice in the previous thread

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

it'll help if you're telling the truth, just saying

because people will recommend the best gear for your hardware, if you lie about it you're only going to hurt yourself
