Well most of my parts have arrived just waiting for my case and PSU. 

 

Parts list

-Intel I7 6700k

-Asus Maximus formula VIII

-Cooler Master hyper 212 evo

-Asus strix 980ti OC

-16g GSkill v series 3200mhz

-Samsung pro 950 256gb m.2

-Samsung 850 evo 500gb ssd

-Corsair rm750i psu

-Phanteks p400 in grey

-Acer predator 165hz 27" monitor

 

Future plans include custom loop if your wondering about the cooler. Now to wait

I didn't want to cut pieces of my build to do the water cooling at the same time, I'll save for a bit then buy it in a few months

I'm excited to see the Phantex p400 with watercooling. I actually rather admire that case, it's pretty!

Case and psu are less then an hour and a half away from me but purolator wont deliver on weekends, i could use my old PSU to atleast post but then i still have to wait 2 days

Same thing here. Amazon sent me the wrtng CPU, so I sent it back,. It travelled from Indiana to Nebraska in 1 day. But it was a Friday and it is like 30 miles from my house and they won't do weekends! :(

The Phanteks P400 is a beautiful case but it sucks for serious water cooling. You can't fit a radiator including fans on top, there just isn't enough clearance. Which is a shame really because I do love the simplicity of that case.

 

look elsewhere if you want a serious custom water loop.

Wont be a serious loop, just a single 360 in the front. As for the top fans it is a little sad that they centered the mount instead of offsetting it. Guess there is something to be said for asymmetrical design. Watercooling is atleast 6 months away. I'm sure ill figure something out by then.

I have not tested it at 165hz yet as I've only tested in on my brother in laws computer, but its glorious. Minimal back light bleed from the bottom right but not noticeable while gaming.

The only thing I'm worried about is a BLB and how noticeable it is, both Asus and Acer have the same issue since they are using the same panel but Asus's monitor is much more expensive atm (around 150 bucks difference in price).

Yeah I mean its there, but how picky do you want to be, 27" ips display your bound to have some. I've heard of guys sending them back 4-5 times before they got one that has hardly any
