Okay, if possible I would try a fresh install of windows at this point.

I just finished my first ITX build and everything is working just fine- except the audio. No matter where I plug my speakers into (back panel IO or front IO) windows cant find the audio device, even when I use another pair of speakers or headphones.

Ive reinstalled the audio drivers and all, still no luck.

any help is appreciated, thanks.

Right click the speaker in the bottom right on the dektop and go to playback devices. Disable/Deactivate everything that is not the audio device you want to use.

Okay, just to check, do you have the latest bios? Is the audio enabled in the bios?

When windows tries to troubleshoot it, the response is that The Audio Service is not responding.

I've tried restarting the service and stopping it etc, but still nothing.
