From the name I'm guessing it's a 1155 board. That means it wouldn't be compatible. You need a 1150 board to be compatible with Haswell.

Setup: i5 4670k @ 4.2 Ghz, Corsair H100i Cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB Ram @ 1600 Mhz, MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard, Corsair GS700 2013 edition PSU, MSI GTX 770 Lightning, Samsung EVO 120 SSD + 2TB&1TB Seagate Barracudas, BenQ XL2411T Monitor, Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones + AntLion ModMic 4.0

Hey guys sorry for the noob question as i'm new to PC building but would a Gigabyte SKT-1155 H61N-D2V Mini ITX Motherboard be compatible with a Intel Core i5 4670K? Thanks

No because that motherboard is Socket 1155 and the 4670K is Socket 1150. The 4670K is Haswell, and that motherboard is for 2nd Generation Core series (Sandy Bridge). Hope it helps!

My bad, I thought that said 3570k

If it is a 3570K it would be compatible but I would suggest you to upgrade to an Asus P8Z77-V LK so you can overclock your cpu in the future.

Get a Z87 motherboard

Let me elaborate on this statement. Get a Z87 since you want a 4670K, so you can overclock it.

System specs:  CPU: AMD Phenom II x3 705e unlocked to x4 overclocked to 2.8GHz   |   MB: ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS   |   Cooler: Hyper 212+   |   GPU: MSI GTX 560ti OC to 910Mhz   |   RAM: 8GB PNY DDR3 1333   |   HDDS: WD Caviar Blue 320GB, Hitachi 500GB HDD   |   PSU: Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 500W   |   Peripherals: Microsoft wireless mouse, old mac keyboard, ASUS VS238H, Gateway FPD2275W, some speakers, Logitech Driving Force Pro

You better get Z77/87 board if you are going for 3570K/4670K. Unless you don't want to oc, but then getting unlocked cpu is pretty much pointless and will cost you more for no benefit.

It seems like you are set on a MITX motherboard so here is one for your contemplation.....http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Intel-6Gbps-Motherboards-GA-Z87N-WIFI/dp/B00D94X7WW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379334657&sr=8-1&keywords=GA-Z87N-WIFI

If you are going for a K-sku CPU then get a good overclocking motherboard. How good of an overclocker is the one above i am not sure.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.
