Will that MIC/Stand combo work for me ?

Go to solution Solved by biascoblix,

Depending on some Amazon Reviews. It seems like it fits.

I'm going for it.

Ok, so I'm fairly new to audio equipment. I have been looking for a good audio setup to record commentary for a sub 80$~.

So far I found those.

Audio-Technica ATR2100

NEEWER Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DY1F2CS

Neewer NW(B-3) 6 inch Studio Microphone Mic Round Shape Wind Pop Filter Mask Shield with Stand Clip (Black Filter)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ACFAULC

But I've no clue whether that will work for me or not.

The Stand says " Max. Microphone Clip Diameter is 1.26"/32mm. ". The ATR2100 is (2.01"). But It seems that there's multiple ways to use this thing. Would some please explain that ?

and if you have any better recommendations within the same price range, Let me know

Thanks in advance.

Know that most mics come with a small mount which fits that particular mic, the mount can be screwed on to any mic stand so that you don't have to worry about whether a mic will fit on the stand or not.  Most usually look like this.

That seems about right. Thanks for replying. That really helped.

I assume it comes with all the needed screws as well, right ?

and It looks like it actually fits the included one that comes with the stand itself.
