[BENCHMARKS] Need For Speed [2016] - AMD seems to have the lead again.

This was expected. Frostbite loves AMD Hardware. DICE and AMD are BFFs.

true...might very well be the case. i'm not saying AMD does not perform well in that game, but i can tell for sure that the game is greatly optimised on PC and it run really really well (like...flawlessly, at around a consistent 90FPS average consistently at 2560x1440 on maximum fidelity) and i never seen it dip in the 60's at that resolution during all the about 5 or 6 hours of gameplay so far...and i have always the OSD on and i look at it all the time (i'm like that, i don't like turning it off...it's a distraction but i need an eye on it...temps, FPS, loads etc.)

So, is the Fury capable of delivering a similar experience? most likely...sure! :) but it run REALLY well on my machine right now, couldnt expect more on that side of things...but i hoped for a bit deeper game...but all i did so far is the same fucking 3 race types over and over again to get more cash...

So around 70 fps min vs 60 fps in that benchmark, that's around 15% difference. Sounds about right for 200+ MHz core clock difference. But it's dumb that they test reference cards. Who buys those? Most people buy non reference cards that have much higher clocks.

i don't know but it's more than that...i will record gameplay footage tonight and we'll see how it run. i need to work now :)

So, i did the video :)

as you can see everything is maxed out in the settings and running at 2560x1440 and i get nowhere near a 60FPS average...i would say it's more like 90FPS or something like that:

The game is smooth and beautiful and it run well...the video does not make the game justice you should see that running at native 1440p with Gsync it's literally breath taking at times....the game does dip in the 70's sometimes but 60FPS as you see it ain't happening.

I get way above those numbers showed in the graph with my 980 at 1080p/1440p, why they keep testing reference models?, I strongly believe that Maxwell's strength comes from overclocking the hell out of it, but oh well. It "eats" lots of ram thou.

The number seems about right for AMD cards. I get similar fps at Tariq's mission at the same settings.

AMD released Crimson 16.3.1 yesterday which support NFS. I haven't try it yet.

Nice game btw, slightly reminded me of old Most Wanted and UG2.

Oh well at least at 1080p NVIDIA is on top, and that's what I use (1080p@144Hz), so looks like I bought the best card for my gaming ;)

Bench mark is bullshit lol

no one is running a Titan X or 980ti at 1000mhz

bench mark is fabricated to suit the fury X because it's a pain in the arse to disable gpu boot 2.0 to even get the nvdia cards to run at 1000mhz

my my friend has a reference 980ti and that boots to 1350 out of the box with no oc and mine boots to 1420 with no oc

also Iv tested this game and with one card a erase fps is 86

AMD (and proud) r7 1700 4ghz-

also (1600)

asus rog crosshairs vi hero x370-

MSI 980ti G6 1506mhz slix2 -

h110 pull - acer xb270hu 1440p -
