PSU For My Build

I'm upgrading to an i5-4590 and a GTX 960. I'm also thinking of getting a new PSU. Right now, I have a CX430M. I don't plan on overclocking the 960. So two questions: should I upgrade the PSU and if so, which one should I get?

you're good but i suggest getting a new one when you can afford it and use the CX as a spare

this is because the CX series is not the most reliable psu out there

and when a psu dies, theres a possibility it might take out other components with it, like the cpu, gpu or motherboard

 

but its totally fine if you wanna continue using yours, its not THAT bad, its just not the best

recommended psu for the 960 on newegg is a min of a 400w psul. You'll probably be alright though. Like you said refrain from doing any overclocking...

if you had to upgrade, EVGA makes some really nice PSU's, 650w would do you just fine

you're fine but i would recommend using a SeaSonic psu (520w) or a EVGA g series. you don't have to upgrade but it's best to upgrade now before something happens, corsair cx power supplies have been downgraded in quality for a while
