Okay, so I got my PC back together, as I have been working on my 6.2L case. Booted up fine, and went to check LTT for notifications. All of a sudden I get a window with some error code regarding Werfault.exe and that it 'could not write to memory'. Okay, so click ok to terminate the program like it said, and the window kept popping up. I kept clicking ok, and after a while I started searching what it was, tried closing it a couple more times, then boom, blue screen. Got the error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (FLTMGR.SYS)

It collected it's info, rebooted, and now I'm here, nothing else has happened so far. I checked Event Viewer and all there was a Kernel_Power error because it shut off after it finished collecting info. Nothing on the other errors. Any ideas?

Nope, not recently. I did do a clean install and all though, perhaps it's from the constant booting and shutting down I've been doing the past few days, as well as the constant assembly and disassembly.

Is it on a surge protector?

It was probably a RAM issue. It said it failed to write to some 0x00..... blah blah blah which I assume is RAM and not my SSD, if it were my SSD I think it would have done it again by now, but I think it was just because of a RAM error, I don't have ECC or anything.

Single SSD. It hasn't showed up again so I think it was just a one time RAM error. When I get my Xeon I should also get some ECC RAM xD

Edit: Dammit my board doesn't support ECC.

Run memtest86 overnight. I battled RAM issues for months before realizing I had faulty ram and had to RMA it, recieving ANOFHER faulty kit and eventually blaming windows 10, after recieving my third kit I have not had a single crash since.

ya if it doesnt happen again it was a ram issue (according to another post on the windows forum) but if it happens again its related to your ssd. also my bad for not reading the full post before responding kind of jumped the gun there and made myself look like an idiot lol

I'll run Memtest86 before I go to bed. Sure hope I don't have faulty RAM, 16GB of RAM is expensive (for me in particular) to replace.

Glad to hear (or rather, read...)! Now, backup your data! :)

Most of my important stuff is backed up to OneDrive at all times :) Anything local is just games or programs that I can reinstall :D'

I've lost my partitions before because of stupidity on my behalf, so I learned where to keep my stuff in case anything goes wrong. xD
