hi i need help setting up my free nas. the problem is i need help accessing it from a network that is not my network. 

if someone could help me with this that would help me out a lot.

What type of access do you want? The web GUI, just the files, SSH, owncloud, plex - there's a lot of services freenas offers - which are you trying to access?
