VALVE have removed DX10 from Resident Evil 5.

Not played it in ages and wanted to earn some achievements.. noticed the game was only launching in DX9 and there is no selector, well they completely removed it ?!?!?

 

 

DX10 in RE5 improves performance on DX10 capable hardware, sad really.

CONSOLE KILLER: Pentium III 700mhz . 512MB RAM . 3DFX VOODOO 3 SLi

Valve aren't responsible for the files other developers include in their game releases, or the changes to the files which a developer or publisher make to their games distributed through Steam.

You can access the GFWL version you just have to launch the game in beta from the game properties option on steam.
