New Custom Computer For Competition

Hello Everybody! Not new to the forums, but one still one of my first posts. Me and a friend are currently planning to make a custom PC for a national competition known as SkillsUSA. We were entered in our computer technician class at our high school career center and we entered the computer modification contest. We are not noobs to any computer terminology so by all means, go all out! Our contest consists of any computer modifications that mostly consist of a completley custom case such as a computer inside a microwave, piano, motorcycle, radio, etc. We have our components all planned out and are planning to spend almost $2000 on a gaming centric build with a full size ATX motherboard and a last generation i5 3570k and a SLI configuration. Any and all comments are welcome. Any other ideas that could be intresting? Or any suggestions and tips if you agree with our idea? Thanks!

I'm thinking acrylic cube mounted underneath a nice wooden chair so you can carry it around and sit on your computer.
