Is it possible to connect an Asus rt ac68u to the maxis fiber internet router?

Hi,

 

I was wondering if it's possible to connect an Asus rt ac68u to the maxis fiber internet router(ISP provided router)? I want to set the asus router as a router not as am access point.

Does the ISP router have a modem mode? That's how I have my RT-AC87U connected to my Virgin Media router, the ISP router simply acts as a modem.

No, the router is technicolor tg784nv3 with the custom ISP firmware. I still need the old router for iptv to work.
