Gross, I see Linus is now sponsored by Soylent. Anyway, before you put a bunch of random chemicals into your body, you should know about the product's history. So I give my warnings about consuming Soylent.

I'm fairly positive that most of them know quite a bit about Soylent. If I remember right, then Luke have been consuming it for roughly a year and a half.

I'm more concerned about the other half a million people who watched the video. I know people will do what they want, it's only a warning from my experience.

If that's true that Luke has been drinking the stuff for so long, he has surely encountered the mold. My article was published a few months ago.

I bought a box of it last week and I love it. The taste is very plain (and I mean plain, it tastes closer to nothing than anything) which I think is a plus because I mix stuff with it to make it taste however I want it to (I prefer adding honey to it). Texture wise, it's no different than Slim Fast or Boost (I would describe is as a vanilla milkshake without the vanilla). I don't plan to replace all of my meals with this and go on a strictly Soylent diet, but I definitely could if I wanted to and it's cheaper than what I'd pay for flavored alternatives at the store which come in smaller amounts with much higher calorie counts (Soylent actually fills me up so I don't need to eat anything else with it). I didn't know LTT had them as a sponsor or I would have used their sponsor code/link. I did take a look at that site that was linked and got a good laugh from it, I was hoping it would have some facts or something but 8 opinions about a product won't sway me from drinking it you can tell that site was having a hard time coming up with 8 reasons and the fact that some of the "warnings" were so far out there makes me feel even better about drinking Soylent.

"random chemicals"

It's not random at all.. it's actually all the bare nutritional stuff that you would normally find in normal food... Just on a healthier/balanced level.

That website is clearly just nitpicking and doesn't offer any real reason against using soylent... Or actual warnings really.

Yes, there can be mold.. just like with any other food ever... There's traces of arsenic, lead and cadmium... just like in many other food that you most likely eat... At least there isn't any Mercury.
