650 or 750 ?

Hi everybody!

 

As I'm setting up my final pieces and now i wonder which PSU to go for, i mean which wattage. The pc is an i7-5820k on a Asus X99-a motherboard with a Gigabyte Extreme overclock 980-ti, cooled by the NZXT x61 Kraken. I know it needs a tad below 550W for these things but I am also installing 5 fans (not using the stock ones) and some LED lightning and that's the reason why im not sure to go for 650 or 750W PSU.

Try the 750 because well it has better architecture than the 650 :P

 Both could overclock, but with the 750w you would have more headroom for future upgrades, etc.

650W is plenty, not sure why everybody was so gung-ho on recommending a 750W.... 

 

What PSU did you end up buying?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
