streaming to twitch

Quick question. If I want to stream a console game to twitch via elgato on my pc, do I need a GPU at all or will my 1231v3 suffice?

in my experience it is only CPU reliant... As long as that is sufficient you should be good.

because you arent streaming gameplay from the computer and instead an elgato,

and that cpu is alright so it will work, if it didnt webcams wouldnt be here i guess

you can and should definitely use a GPU if you can. its much more efficient than a CPU and you'll need a pretty powerful CPU to use it. like at least a high speed i5. preferably an i7.

yes you need a GPU because the 1231v3 doesnt have an iGPU so you will not be able to use your desktop because you will have no display output
