I have an MSI motherboard, and couldn't find a program for MSI mobos that controls the fans, like Fan Xpert.

Does MSI have one and if so, where would I find it?

nope :(

I think they have a mobile app called Command Center which is supposed to allow control from phones, but, according to review, it's buggy as hell.

I'm in a similar predicament with two MSI motherboards. It's annoying that MSI doesn't release an app.

There is the Command Center, which does basically the same thing as Asus' overclocking/fan control software. Fan controls are less feature rich, but you get a RAMDisk which Asus doesn't have.

The app for your phone is basically a Wake On LAN client, to turn the computer on remotely. I've never used it, so can't comment on how well it works.

You can control the fans from within command centre program on the PC, it's not great for fan control TBH but personally I just set the fan speeds in the UEFI and leave it at that. So far had been good as I like a quiet PC, so have mine set at something like 40c 25% fan speed and ramps up from there when the temp does.. I also have my case fans set at around 50% which is lowest I think?? and so on... it's not as great as havign a proper fan speed controller in any way, and if I had one complaint I would like to see a bit more of an adjustment level, basically lower.. I mean why 40c?? I know that's not high at all, but would have preferred maybe 25c as the lowest setting, then anything under 25c would basically run off about 10% fan speed to still keep it cool and quiet. I do miss my proper fan controller I had as my PC was a lot quieter with it, but have to admit it was a PITA to have to remember to crank it up when you do some more intensive things with the PC.
