Yes, but a PCI card is always faster, and Ethernet is faster than that.

Either way, it is usually your internet speeds that are the limiting factor.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I agree, I would stay away from TP-link products.

One could say that there might be a reason why TP-link shares the first letters with Toilet Paper, which I more often than I would like, associate with shit :D

Would go for brands like Netgear, Asus, Linksys or D-Link, who also make decent routers.

This one for example: http://www.techhive.com/article/2023738/netgear-a6200-review-a-cost-effective-and-fast-802-11ac-adapter.html
