Intel makes a wine powered processor

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/09/12/intel_shows_off_winepowered_processor_and_biometric_boffinry/

"Some people turn water into wine, here at Intel we're turning wine into electricity," Bell said. "It's possible to start to imagine a world of incredibly low power but also with high performance, which will help unburden us, help us do things that are remarkable and gives the ability to power things like constant sensing, communication, and computing – all of which are necessary for our mobile future."

Could this mean the end for batteries? Nothing mind blowing, just something interesting.

So its like the thing where you connect a little light bulb to a few lemons with copper and metal straps in them and because of the chemical reaction, ions travel around and make the bulb glow..?

And intel has the lower power chips to replace the bulb. :D

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

I can see one problem here.

How do I power the screen? Screw the processor from Intel or ARM (ARM might be easier to power by 'wine'...) but the screen is going to kill all the watts you throw at it in no time.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

This can help people to stop being drunk. If they want to use their computer, they would have to sacrifice their wine in order to use it :)
