Hello there, When i am doing things like exporting video, my system will freeze so that i must do a hard reset.

The freeze makes it so that everything is as if the system is stuck idling.

OS: Win 8.1 home, 64 bit

CPU: AMD fx 6300 (4.0 ghz oc)

MOBO: Asus M5a97r2.0

GPU: Evga geforce 610

PSU: 430w

HDD: 1 TB wd blue

Ram: 8 GB  (1x 4gb single ch, 2x 2gb duo ch)

Temps: Unable to record if the system is frozen. Heats up to ~55 in previous monitored tests.  Room temp it about 68 F.

Video editor: Lightworks 12.5 free

Lightworks was exporting last time it froze

do a dpclat test

try asus realbench stress test

what are the temperatures?

what is the PSU?

does it shut down or just freeze?

screen shows the last picture or black?

are you overclocked?

restore to default BIOS settings

how old is the PC?

try safe mode

try adding voltage to CPU
