Resigned from work

I just quit my job, because i spend several days working twice as much, and not getting payed for the work I did. and one of my "managers" was a complete prick and fully responsable for this. what would you have done if you were in that situation?

Not sure how it is in the Netherlands but in the US it's required by law for you to get paid for any hours worked.

I did. I may be stupid. but not that stupid, not hired yet though. i dont like working until 9 pm and not getting payed for it.

its a large grocery store chain. I dont mean anything to them. lots of 15 year olds are prepared to work cheaper than me. and his sister is a prick too

I'm sure if you don't get paid for your work, as long as you can prove you did, they will be liable for compensation of your work. I can't imagine it would work differently regardless of not being in the US.

there is no way I could have made any influence on that company, its too big. if you all could complain about that person I would not mind it.

because i am under 18, lots of people can do my job for cheaper, and they can just fire me like that. i dont mind any of the other persons working there.

THEY have to pay you for the time you have work they can't say We wont pay you for those hours.

Seriously, never go back to that place and never let somebody you love work there. They are unreasonable as hell.
