Reinstalling GTA 5 on steam

I bought GTA 5 a couple of months ago but i had to factory reset my pc. How do i reinstall it? Im going on my games library and its not there?

 

Also games like battlefield?

Search GTA V on the steam store. It should say you have it purchased. If you don't it was not purchased on your account. If it says it is purchased then go to my library and search GTA.

It should be there, steam library is bound to account not to storage, only game data is.

It should be grayed out and instead of the play button you will get "Install".

have you tried going to the games page on steam and downloading it from there?

I've checked and its charging me to download it. I've check, its the right account, it has my other played games

That means you didn't purchase it on steam. Did you add GTA V to your library in steam? Like did you buy it from somewhere else?

Yes i bought the code from all cd keys? Does that mean its not saved to steam?

If you bought the game from the Steam store, the purchase is saved in your account and will always appear there.

If you had it in your steam library and you bought it somewhere else, you most likely had it added as "Non-Steam game".

Thank you Module. I'm pretty sure thats it  Now i need to get into the CDkey account hahah
