hello everyone
My computer posts with normal beep sound but no display output
My setup is this :
Core i5 3570

2 x 4GB kingstone ValueRam cl9 at 1333 Mhz
Sapphire R9 280x vapor X "the 2 fans version not the newer 3 fans one"
CoolerMaster Extreme2 650w PSU
My monitor is a 19 inch Samsung S19B300 1366x768

it worked super fine till yesterday
when I hook the display to the onboard graphics it works like a charm like nothing happened
I don't know whether it's my graphics card dead or my psu

Might seem like a silly thing but did you check all the monitor cables? they can sometimes get loose, even months after plugging them in, causing some confusion.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB

But it posts and he says onboard graphics work, so it definitely isn't the cabling.

ok that would have been my next suggestion. try reseating the GPU (slide it out of the PCI slot, firmly push it back in) as well as double checking the power cables from the PSU and on the GPU (both ends of the cables).

If your graphics card has multiple of the input you're using for the monitor, switch to a different one. Make sure your graphics card is actually turning on with the rest of the machine (AKA not dead). Switch to a different PCIe slot. Try the card in a different machine if you have access to another.

the card is posting with the system ..no double or triple buzzers ..the system posts normally and the fans of the graphics card are spinning normally ....I will try resetting the graphics card and try it in another in another rig but that will be tomorrow at a friend of mine as I don't have another rig available now
