Windows 10 clean install questions

So I´m about to bring my Windows 7 PC up to Windows 10. The upgrade through Windows itself doesn´t work because of errors MS doesn´t even know what they mean.

So I will try it either by USB or DVD with the Media Creation Tool. But I have a few questions about that:

 

1.Can I use my Windows 7 OEM software key to activate the clean install? (It says OEM software on my Windows 7 Home Premium box)

2.Did it already create "Maschine-ID" thing while the failed trails?

3.I have to skip "enter product key" while installing and enter it after booting right?

1. You'll be able to directly use your Windows 7 OEM key if the Windows 10 install medium is at least version 1151. Versions before that, you'll need to do a clean install of Windows 7, activate it, and then install Windows 10 overtop.

3. If you install Windows 10 overtop an activated Windows 7 as well as any future clean Windows 10 installs, it shouldn't even ask for a key. Otherwise, skip that step and you should be able to activate with the Windows 7 key once you've updated to version 1151 with Windows Update.

Ok, thanks for your help. I created the ISO yesterday with mdc tool from MS so it should be 1151 or further. I hope...
