Switching from Comcast to United Comunications

I'm going to be switching ISPs soon, and I'm wondering if you guys have any good/bad experiences with United Communications. I currently pay about $180 a month for 180/25 and switching to UC gets me 1000/100 for $125 a month.

Likewise however with Telstra in Australia. (Australia where the government believes that copper is the future!)
