I-7 2600

I found an I-7 2600 chip in my desk, is it worth buying a new motherboard and using it to build with or just chuck it in the trash? If it is worth it, can you give me a few suggestions on a good mother board.

Ebay it, on the assumption it still works. You can either buy a board, or sell the CPU.

I'd rather try to sell it..... still, it's a very good chip, and it's definitely worth to get a system around it if you have a use for an extra PC.

Yes found it in my desk, In a box mind you. We have alot of our old systems going down and are upgrading to new ones as they die, so I'm not sure if someone took it out of and old cpu or what..............so does this answer your all's WTF??
