So now that I've switched to watercooling my PC its gotten a lot quieter, but the fans on my video card are now the loudest thing in the system. Any way I can make it quieter? I don't want to make/cant afford to do a full custom loop. Is there anything like an AIO cooler for your video card? Or any way to mod a quieter fan onto them that isn't too ghetto an doesn't seriously damage the shroud? My video card is an xfx radeon 7950. Thanks!

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

OR maybe u can clean it and run the fans at lower rpm, sacrificing temps

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Download something like MSI afterburner, create a custom fan profile so it only kicks in at like 65c but if you wanna, you can get something like the NZXT's g10 and mount AIO or whatever to your GPU (but as someone who has a fully watercooled AIO system (2nd 290x isn't used with the arctic cooler btw), I would just say, try to get a full waterloop as even though I only spent about 1/3 on a full on water loop (both the h100i and h75 were on a 25% sale at my local hardware store as they were going bust :(, aka the price of a single waterblock for the 290x) as I would have preferred some possible future expansions (hence is why I currently have a second 290x with an arctic cooler on but forgot to measure the clearance for that cooler...dammit 3 and a quarter slot cooler)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I don't have the tools, expertise, components, or most importantly the money for a full loop. Nor do I really wanna deal with the maintenance. Hence why I bought an AIO cooler for my cpu. I guess I'll try afterburner then. So theres no way I could replace the fans with noctuas or something?

Which 7950 do you have??

and yes, you can ghetto mount fans to your HS depending on what model of 7960 you have

Heres a link: http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Double-2XMiniDP-Graphics-FX795ATDKC/dp/B00E0GYN1W

Why would it have to be "ghetto" mounted? I mean surely the two fans already on it must be mounted somehow, could I not just replace them and mount the new ones the same way?

Well you can but if that's what you're going to do then you may as well stick with the stock fans as switching them with other 90mm fans may result in less noise but probably higher temps as they aren't designed to get rid of so much heat (and you would have a real fun time trying to get the fans out of their casings so you can mount it like how it originally did)

So would a couple of 90mm noctuas not be able to get rid of the heat?

I don't know to be honest...it really depends on the specs of those fans that's already mounted on the cooler.
