First "Gaming" Computer

Hi, so I have been wanting to get a Gaming Computer for a long time now, so I have compiled a list of what I think could be good enough for a "cheap" first Gaming Computer, however, I have no idea about anything about what are good components and what are bad ones, so basically I want some feedback of what this Computer might achieve and if there is anything to be changed. So here are the specs :
CPU : https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/Intel-Skylake-i5-6500-32-36GHz-Processor/23063246
HDD : https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/1TB-WD-Blue-Hard-Drive-35-HDD-7200-RPM/20903785
RAM : https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/2x4GB-Kingston-HyperX-FURY-2133Mhz-DDR4-RAM-Black/24084463
Power Supply : https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/Antec-VP600P-600w-Power-Supply/23037062
Case : https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/Deepcool-Tesseract-Mid-Tower-Case/24164486
Motherboard : https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/Gigabyte-GA-H170-Gaming-3-Motherboard/23063354
Graphics Card : https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/Sapphire-Radeon-R7-370-Nitro-4GB-Graphics-Card/24362993

I would prefer if I didn't go over this price limit, but any comment would be appreciated and if you think that this Computer is worth this price then please tell me. Thank you in advance.

Downgrade CPU to an Athlon X4 860K and upgrade GPU to an R9 380

Get a cheaper motherboard. There's no reason you need to spend that much on one.

(unless you really, really need the features on it for some reason - which I doubt)

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

That's a over priced website.  Everything there is a solid 20% markup.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Other than the psu everything is fine. Although a better gpu would be nice. The psu is ok, but not great. You might see if you can find something like a Corsair CX-430 or a Seasonic 350W/450W 80+ Bronze oem model.

If you are open to buying from other NZ merchants, you could consider something like the following.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($335.00 @ PC Force)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($195.00 @ Paradigm PCs)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory  ($89.00 @ PC Force)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($87.98 @ Aquila Technology)
Video Card: Asus Radeon R7 370 2GB Video Card  ($242.00 @ Paradigm PCs)
Case: Deepcool TESSERACT BF ATX Mid Tower Case  ($79.99)

Thank you so much for this list, a couple of things I might add, I would prefer 4GB VRAM rather than 2GB, but other than that you have been a tremendous help, just to add, does this cost include shipping fees?

No. Nor does it include any add-on taxes. If you can, you may want to check out local merchants to see if they can do any better price wise.

I'm not sure 4GB VRAM is going to make a difference with an R7 gpu.

Sorry to bother you again, but what difference would upgrading my PSU do in terms of performance, I am saying this from a more so "Budget" stand point as the ones you are recommending are $70 more expensive and I am wondering whether or not it is worth spending that extra cash.

If you will still by any chance be reading this, this will really improve your gaming performance, and very SLIGHTLY downgrade CPU intensive performance

Quality psu provide cleaner and more stable power to the electronics. This tends to prolong component lifetimes and make for more stable operation. They are also more carefully constructed with better components and therefore tend to last longer.
