Has Anyone Played Far Cry Primal?

Hey I'm wondering if anyone has played Far Cry Primal. And if so, is it any good. I'm considering buying it but can't seem to form an opinion on what I think about it. I like the style of game and I want a break from first person shooters. Would you recommend it. Thanks guys.

I think it was that already in FC3. After a few missions, it was just the same going forward. FC4 was bleh on arrival. I think Ubi is catering to a lowest common denominator crowd with these repeat ad nauseam games.

As much as i loved Far Cry 3, they're the types of games i tend to buy long after release when i can pick them up for $10 from a Steam sale.

I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm actually a little disappointed. I was kinda hoping for some nice melee combat, maybe something similar to what's in Mount and Blade or Chivalry. But instead, it looks like mind-numbing click-to-stab/swing and that's it. I hope Ubisoft's putting more effort into For Honor...
