Can someone tell me why every movie i watch has grain effect? even some blurays? and can someone simplify these technical specs for me? also what resolution is 2.35 : 1?

 

 

Cinematographic Process Digital Intermediate (2K) (master format) 
Super 35 (source format) Printed Film Format 35 mm (anamorphic) (Kodak Vision 2383)

it was deleted, 

 

a camera codec is the package that the film comes in like .mp4 or h.264 .mkv etc.

i thought package and codec were 2 different things?

 

they are two different things, 

 

 

I don't know why It was deleted I think we may have a rogue mod

That's for sure. It was nonsensical I give them that, but that isn't a reason to remove posts

When I started writing the post I went and took some screenshots of my situation, and while I was doing that Lil Chillbil said it was deleted

Rogue mod is a mod that isn't following the rules. he/she went rogue for example

Codec= h.264

container= .mp4

 

 

and I don't know why the movies are like that

also, 2:35:1 is not a resolution its  a format of the display like 4:3 or 16:9

2.35 : 1 isn't a resolution, its the aspect ratio, called anamorphic widescreen I believe. It has little black bars on the top and the bottom of the screen

h.264 has become the standard for video, its a compression type and .mp4 is the container of the video

@Lil Chillbil  so its not 16:9? are all movies in this 2:35:1 format?

 

 

some are 4:3 some are 16:9 and some are 2:36:1 etc. 

 

it all depends on the camera

No I wasn't writing anything, I just went to check how things had advanced, I came up with the situation in the photo

@Lil Chillbil ok thanks, so compression type what others are their and which is best quality and size etc even if size isnt a problem for me etc? whats the compression type of the film on the reel? or is it raw? also why is their grain in the movie? is it bad pixels of light in the lens of the camera? also show me examples of a film camera vs digital new camera please
