My budget was $500 but I am seriously stretching. I would apprectiate if you manage to reduce the price. I went Z-170 because i will be Base clock overclocking and for future-proofing.

I'll need to know the use of your pc to recommend parts.

You can't BCLK OC anymore. Intel updated the microcode so no locked CPU can be overclocked.

well you can still grab the bios version that allow BCLK overclocking and disable windows update and technically it should work forever but it's not very nice to do that and there are a lot of downside to bclk overclocking so yeah...it's good to point out that it's not ''that'' easy to perform.

Oh ok...my build should be fine. It has more cores and has a 750 Ti. I play CSGO on integrated graphics on my a10-6800K and I can run at medium settings. The 750 Ti should be just fine for running csgo on high. (my r9 270x dual x 4GB has been rma'd :()

Changes:

- Price increase +$15

+ i3-6100 --> i5-6500

+ 2x4GB --> 1x8GB

- 1TB SSHD --> 1TB HDD

+ R7 370 --> R9 380

- Corsair 200R --> Fractal Core 1000 w/ USB3.0

- EVGA 550W G2 PSU --> EVGA 500B PSU

+ TP Link Wifi Card --> Gigabyte AC Wifi Card

Basically, cheaper case, HDD instead of SSHD, 80+ Bronze PSU, for an i5 CPU and an R9 380. For only $15 more, it's a much better deal.

if you are gaming on this budget check out the i5 4570 processor which is enough for any game, otherwise go I5 6500. You are sacrificing too much with this budget to overclock (which is not needed for games). Save for a better GPU. 8GB ram is plenty, 500 W psu is plenty.
