CPU or GPU upgrade

Okay right now I have a I5 processor and a Radeon R9 280

im planning on upgrading but don't know what would be more beneficial, I'm either going to get a I7 processor or a MSI R9 390 any help would be appreciated

if your psu can handle a higher gpu go for it or if your i5 is old af then cpu

Get the 390, as the i7 won't give you a boost in gaming performance (maybe 1-2 fps) where as the 390 will give you a significant performance increase, plus you could then sell your 280 and i5 and buy an i7, and have both!
