especially in the low end you want to really cater your build to your specific use case.

I would go with a last gen processor. A pc for this budget won't benefit from ddr4 and the price premium will hurt. I'll put a build together in a minute. Is there a specific purpose for this pc?
p.s. a current gen 950 would be great too.
