Apps for Nexus 7 2012 (Apps in general)

Ddm5

Nagged my father today and he finally gave in, he wanted a tablet to use for games and such and even BBC iPlayer. I've thrown on what I've wanted such as Skype, Facebook, Avast!, etc. Can you guys recommend any decent apps or how to fully get the most out of this tablet?

Cpu: i5-2500k @4.8Ghz, MB: Asus Maximus V Formula, CPU cooler: Be quiet! Dark rock pro 2, GPU: Evga Gtx660 FTW@1.24ghz. Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866Mhz, PSU: Be quiet! 730w Semi modular, SSD: Corsair force 3 240Gb, HDD: WD Green 1TB, Case: Nzxt H2 with 4 Corsair SP120's, Win7

From my experience, I wouldn't load too many apps onto the Nexus, I find it getting really laggy when loaded with a lot of unused/unwanted apps.

I personally don't as I dib in and out of the window menu closing the apps that are open and aren't being used.

Avast! is just incase to be honest, my dad isn't exactly the best when it comes to computers and I don't really trust him, mobile malware is booming anyway so y'know, I'll have a think about Skype autorun.

ES File Explorer + MX Player and you'll be in for a real treat when it comes to streaming movies from your local network!

Cheers,

Lookout is a good option all in one, great tracking, anti virus, finding your device.

That is no longer an issue in Android 4.3
