Don's right. The only exception is having a lower AMD CPU, somewhat ironic but whatever. The 380 is superior to the 960. Now both should be 4g models but that's obvious. Clouding the water on the OP is keeping them down, sorry. With their CPU there is no reason to get a 960 other than brand loyalty.

To what end though? The 960 can't run a lot of Nvidia exclusive graphics settings, not without compromising other settings. It's not ideal for capturing video, or streaming. So what if the 380 isn't always a certain percentage faster, on average it's considerably faster. Do you see a 960ti? Even though it was planned? Even Nvidia knows which card is better.

2. Get a Sapphire, XFX or MSI R9 380X! :D

3. AMDs recording is not as bad as everyone say!

(less quality but less storage is needed due to smaller file size)
