I'm here to tell  you to wait for Pascal before buy an expensive card. Get a 950 or something. The Pascal cards come out this year.

 

Usually you'd be fine to not wait, but this is the first time in a while they're changing the nm process and VRAM. Compelling reason to wait. Even if you don't want the new cards, the 980ti will surely drop in price. 

 

EDIT: also you do need a cooler if you want to OC. You won't even need to OC yet, because the stock speed of the 4690k isn't a bottleneck in any game. I suggest hyper 212 Evo. I have that CPU and Cooler.
