Well, what are you looking for, what do you play/do on your computer, because i need to know if you want high refresh rates/ips/low response times etc.

I can help with programming and hardware.

If you are using this for gaming I highly recommend a 21:9 setup over triple screens

If I were you, I would just go for a good ultrawide, A nice 1440p curved one so that you get the feel of being surrounded by monitors, without the bezels and hard edges.

The only problem with ultrawides, is some games have shit FOV that you can't change much.

Regarding 21:9 monitors, is 3440x1440 at 100 hz the limit for display port, or will they have higher refresh rates in the future?

Eventually, sure.

But it will require a better interface

You say that now without having experienced 1440p 144 hz. I have that plus my old 60 hz 1080p, and the difference is astounding. Its much better to get one large higher spec screen than three crappy ones.

Linus is my fetish.

I don't mind the fisheye because honestly, 48:9 is over twice as much horizontal screen space, so a lot of it is peripheral vision, meaning ur never really looking directly at it.  I will usually prefer three monitors because of this, but 3 ultrawides?  that would be nicceeee

I can help with programming and hardware.

Not sure about the rest. But then 8ms = 0.008 seconds. Maybe it's just me, but i can't see the different between 5ms (0.005seconds) and 8ms (0.008seconds). Seriously, 0.003 seconds can't make much different. At least to me.
