What's my head pressure??

MrSaw

Hi,

I'm designing my own custom watercooling loop (first time) and I'm struggling to pick a pump. I was going to go with an EK DCC pump but in Linus's $30,000 unbuilding stream he mentioned that they cause problems. However I don't know if a D5 pump will supply enough pressure for my loop.

Firstly, is there anyone who's had good or bad experiences with the DCC pumps; should I stick with it?

Secondly, will one D5 be enough? I'm having 1 cpu block, 1 gpu block, a bay res, a 480 rad and a 280 rad.

Thanks.

EK offers pumps with up to 7m head pressure, so no idea why they would not be good enough.

Also, D5 is for loops with low restriction while DDC is for big loops or very restrictive loops.

More parts = more restriction.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.
