What's funny, is the first DX12 game we get has no difference between the PC and PS4. So while we're arguing about graphics cards, they're cutting our balls off xD

Well it's an AMD title so clearly it can't have good graphics or AMD cards wouldn't get favored properly....

But still! Sarcasm aside that blew my mind. At least in The Division and ROTTR we get nice shadows for the THOUSANDS of dollars we spend.

Can we seriously be looking at the next line of cards when this is the crap we get. Not ignoring you Star Citizen, but daddies busy right now.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Yea... Or special hair that blows in the wind?

That said Tomb Raider looks really nice.

Seriously though, I think Nvidia is letting AMD hype the shit out of Polaris

AMD has not 'hyped the shit' out of Polaris. They waited until very recently when they had working silicon to talk about it.

Whereas Nvidia has been talking about Pascal for years.

Anyway I didn't vote in the poll cause we have no way of knowing for now.

If you mean having a roadmap talking about it... In which case AMD has also been talking about beyond GCN for years... Sorry they changed the name...

Next thing you know you will be telling me AMD doesn't hype their cpus as much as intel does...

I mean yay a new APU!

No, AMD wins this round for hype. But in their financial position they have to. This is make it or break it for AMD.

Yes, best looking game in my library IMO. Though Pure Hair falls behind Dat Ass IMO.

Witcher 3 is a different style so it's hard to compare, but of the realism style yea it's probably the best game made yet (unless you include insane mode god modded skyrim).

I actually care more about DA:I personally. No it isn't as good graphically, but that lip sync (and facial movements) is ultra real. Like shit... Nothing compares to Bioware when it comes to watching people talk...

AMD is closer to actually releasing a product. And they have produced working silicon and shown it off and mentioned the perf/watt improvements. That's about it...

But Nvidia has been talking about Pascal for many years.

But were you at CES? While AMD was blowing it's load all over the audience about Polaris, Nvidia was talking about it's hardware in self driving cars, and VR.

AMD is going all in on Polaris.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Road map... again... AMD has been talking about post GCN just as long as Nvidia is talking about Pascal (actually longer because Volta was supposed to be Pascal but got pushed back).

Sorry AMD changed the name (numerous times... first is was called faraway islands, then arctic islands, and now specifically polaris) ...

And again... we don't actually have any idea who is actually closer to release.

So they are following their historical pattern in not making a lot of hype and doing teases... and then BAM! Product ready for market... ;)

Really wish they would let us in more on whats going on with these new products but then again they don't want the competition to find out so I get it, regardless, their marketing departments are supposed to create hype for new products (And hopefully the engineering team delivers).

I don't really get the fanboy-ism, honestly we don't have any benchmarks of the new lines of cards and if you can 100% make a decision to get Polaris over Pascal at this point, then your opinion is biased. And I see no true point to this thread. With that said, I'm going to go with the best card in the $600-$700 dollar price point reguardless of who is producing it.
