Far cry PC or console

I can't decide which platform should I get the game for. I got a good gaming PC and an xbone. I will use Xbox controller no matter which one I chose... But it's difficult to decide.

 

for PC:

Slightly better graphics

 

I can use TS and other stuff as well as alt tab

 

I can talk with people through the stem chat if needed

 

Against:

Less comfortable

 

I usually get easily distracted on PC 

 

Much smaller screen

 

For console: 

I can play in bed

 

No distractions

 

I think it's out sooner

 

Bigger screen

 

Against:

Probably a bit worse graphics

 

Can't use TS if I wanted to

 

I think I'm leaning slightly on the console side since the game is single player only... I usually play multiplayer on my PC but idk

 

What would you choose?

Play on PC with an Xbox360 controller via your TV = best of both worlds

If you want dem graphics then PC

 

If you want comfort then console it is, even though I'm a PC gamer I would rather play it on console

And you could just plug the pc into your TV

you need an htpc in your bedroom, can stream to it through steam to play in bed then. pc gets my vote for single player games though, i only have multiplayer games on my xbox one because i have a lot of friends that play on xbox live.

Yeah I got steam link and fallout 4 looks like garbage on the TV. I got all the possible quality settings maxed and I can still clearly see compression artifacts.

It's too far and it would have to go all the way across my room

oh really? mine looks identical on my htpc as it does on my main rig, but theyre both hard wired to my router so i dont know if that makes a difference if yours aren't.

Yeah same. My steam link and PC are both on wired connection to my router but I can clearly see artifacts while playing fallout. They're not too horrible but definitely ruining the graphics advantage my PC has over the console

People are going to shoot me for saying this but when you see those X-Box1-PS4-PC side by side comparisons they all look pretty damn close, sure PC is always looking slightly better but when you're playing on a TV from a sofa or bed consoles are more than fine.

what he said. if you actually do regularly play the same game on both a pc and a console, you can hugely tell the difference.

It'll most likely have aim assistance so it wont be a big deal. 

It's not like its a competitive multiplayer shooter anyway.
