i really like some of sennheisers design, never owned any of them but they look awesome.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Depends on what I'm looking for.

If I want reference sound I would go with either Shure or AKG, but if it's for fun I would go with Beyerdynamic.

HiFiMan would also have been on my list if it wasn't for their piss poor build quality.

A friend of mine had to go through 3 pairs of HE560s befor she got one that worked.

Those damn mini T-connectors seemed to break as soon as they got in contact with the air.

Luckily, they have shifted away from using those damn things. T-connectors was a bad idea when TVs used them and they were a bad idea for headphones.

Well the 400s and 400i has 2.5 jack now.

EDIT:

The 400i still has those weird things xD

I just think they make good products, going from my personal experience as well as other people I know.

Not according to the HiFiMan website: http://hifiman.com/products/detail/178

Atleast that states that the HE400i now has 2,5mm TRS connectors. It's still not ideal, but it's an improvement.

And HiFiMan won't make it on to my list untill I get another pair to play around with. I can only judge on personal experience.
